Hi, my name is Dorretta Maynard. I am a Fitness/Gym Instructor and Athletics Coach working with children as young as five years to adults.
My history is from the legal background across education law, childcare law, wills and probate, commercial and residential property, criminal law and contracts.
I have worked and supported three schools as a School Governor so I see the need for a thriving community. I have lived in the Old Trafford community from 1994 with my two children and have many fond memories.
I am still a resident of Old Trafford and I still continue to enjoy the community and welcome the new Limelight development as one of the better things to come and add to the vibrancy that exists.
My involvement in Limelight came about as an active member of the Governance Design Action Group from a community and resident perspective. With my transferrable skills, knowledge, experience and involvement in many community initiatives within Trafford this has complemented my contribution as a good candidate for the role as one of the Limelight Management Committee Members on which I serve.
My heart and passion is to see Old Trafford and Trafford develop to be a place where people love to be and have good experiences and memories, to have a legacy that will bring Old Trafford to the tips of the tongues of those that visit as a memorable thriving engaging caring together community. I believe that a community who work together, pull together and stay together.
Limelight Management Committee Member, Dorretta Maynard talks about the community of Old Trafford and why she wanted to get involved in the running of Limelight in this video below.
