The Limelight team

Meet the team who help our community meet, eat, celebrate, learn and create at Limelight.

Our team members

Michael Day - Community and Business Development Manager
I joined the Limelight team in December 2019 and have loved every minute. As part of my role, I help our fantastic team provide services and resources to support the local area. I meet lots of amazing people and get the opportunity to work with local businesses, to develop and deliver essential services to the community. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video and board games and support my mother with her small business.
Carol Morrissey - SCHEME MANAGER
I have worked at Limelight since 2017, starting as a senior carer, before moving to my present role as the Scheme Manager at Limelight. I manage the extra care side of Limelight, supporting elderly and vulnerable people. I aim to give Limelight residents a fantastic experience, making them feel part of a community and enjoy organising activities and outings. In my spare time, I love doing yoga with my beautiful granddaughter.
I love my role at Limelight, and it's more than a job to me. I love the people I work with, and the interaction with the local community is fantastic. I worked in the old cafe at Limelight, and I have been privileged to be part of the transformation into Mosaic. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the catering industry, and I hope that everyone enjoys my bakery in the cafe as I love doing it.
I have lived in Old Trafford my whole life, and have been at Limelight from the very beginning. In my role, I meet and greet everyone who walks through our doors, set up events and look after our event clients and manage a team of dedicated Building Service Operatives. I previously worked at the Old Trafford Community Centre for 18 years, and bring my knowledge, experience and passion for the Old Trafford Community to Limelight.
Sophia Agnew – Booking and Event Coordinator
My role is to manage the room hire booking services, and plan, organise and deliver the events at Limelight through engagement with our wonderful local community. I love how diverse my role is. I can go from helping a client choose the perfect room layout for their wedding to finding a perfect Santa Claus for our annual Christmas Markets. Since I started in June 2019, I feel both proud and privileged to be both making a positive change to the Old Trafford community and be part of Limelight’s exciting future.
Audra Brandy - Community Connector
In my role as Community Connector, I manage the Limelight Volunteers and create partnerships networks with local organisations in Old Trafford. I was proud to be part of the decision making process from the very start and love seeing the values of Limelight enhance the lives of our residents and customers. For me, working with the local community is extremely rewarding. Limelight is a vibrant space that inspires flourishing lifestyles and makes a positive difference in the community.
Zed Chunara - Operations Co-Ordinator
I feel privileged to be a part of the Limelight team, supporting my colleagues and the local community. I am also very passionate about Old Trafford as this is my home. I bring my local knowledge and experience in customer operations to Limelight. Each day I look forward to meeting our wonderful Limelight community and supporting them in everything they do.
Victor Lovelock - Heart of House
Hi, I'm Victor, and the first friendly face you will see at the Limelight reception. I enjoy meeting the community who use Limelight each day and seeing the positive impact it has. I work within a strong, dedicated and customer-focused team. My mission is to give you a warm welcome and enhance your experience at Limelight. I love the vibrancy, diversity and tolerance of the Old Trafford community and want to build and promote this to the world.
Aaron Millar - Building Service Operative
I love the great team I work with at Limelight and look forward to exciting things to come at Limelight. Working with the public is very fulfilling, and I use my experience gained from working in the Hospitality Industry to my role. In my spare time, I love to play video games and take trips over to Ireland, where I grew up from the age of ten.
Kevin Moore - Building Service Operative
I started working for Limelight when it opened in 2017. I joined the team because I believe in being positive and continue to make a positive contribution to helping the local community. In my role, I ensure the event rooms are set up for our event bookings and take part in building maintenance checks. I enjoy reading science fiction novels and love the marvellously entertaining Marvel films.
Nicola Clews - Building Service Operative
I joined the Limelight team in November 2019. My role involves setting up events and assisting customers accessing the services at Limelight. I live in the local community and have a degree in Youth and Community Work, enabling me to build trust and confidence with young people at Limelight, through my knowledge of the local area. In my spare time, I enjoy doing fun activities with my daughter, and long walks with my dogs Fifi and Buddy.
I have worked in kitchens for the past 14 years, and my varied roles have included working at Carluccio's and Jamie's Kitchen in Manchester city centre. I have a passion for Asian and European cuisine. This comes from my extensive travels around the areas and Tasting and bringing back exciting recipes to try out. My favourite dishes are seafood. I particularly love anything with crab and white wine. When I'm not working, I love relaxing with a good book or a true-crime podcast.
