Session cookies are used to preserves the visitor's session state across page requests and

  1. __RequestVerificationToken - Helps prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks
  2. NET_SessionId - Preserves the visitor's session state across page requests.

Statistics cookies:

  1. ga - Registers a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data on how the visitor uses the web site.
  2. _gat - Used by Google Analytics to throttle request rate
  3. gid - Registers a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data on how the visitor uses the web site.

Marketing cookies:

  1. collect - Used to send data to Google Analytics about the visitor's device and behaviour. Tracks the visitor across devices and marketing channels.
  2. PREF - Registers a unique ID that is used by Google to keep statistics o f how the visitor uses You Tube videos across different web sites
  3. VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE - Tries to estimate the users' band width on pages with integrated You Tube videos.
  4. L - Registers a unique ID to keep statistics of what videos from You Tube the user has seen .
