Thanks to a generous donation from ITV, Limelight will be the first organisations in the North of England to have a Bounce Alzheimer's Therapy Table. Actors from Emmerdale and Coronation street competed in their very own Table Tennis competition at Manchester Pride 2017 to raise the funding to donate a Therapy Table to Limelight.

The Therapy Table will be showcased at Limelight’s launch, which will take place on the 7th December 2017 from 2pm onwards.
Limelight’s Therapy Table and members of Together Dementia Support and Bounce Alzheimer's Therapy (BAT) will be attending the launch event on the 7th Dec, please come and try out your table tennis skills! Everyone is welcome.

Following the launch, Limelight are working in partnership with Together Dementia Support and BAT to provide regular Table Tennis sessions for people living with dementia and their carers.

The sessions will take place every Friday afternoon from 12th January onwards between 11am and 1pm at Limelight. These sessions will be open to anyone who wants to come along and will be supported by staff and volunteers from Limelight and Together Dementia Support.
Limelight offers a lovely bright, friendly and accessible venue for activities. Residents will be able to participate along with people living with dementia who live in the community.

There is car parking at Limelight and good access to bus stops. If access is a problem for you please do get in touch, as we may be able to help with transport. We also have a café on site where you can enjoy a tasty lunch before the session.
